As long as there stuff about Dirt 2 here, check out Ladyhawke’s My Delirium thats in the games sound track. Good stuff.
This game is awesome. Beyond awesome. I mean, just look at these screenshots that I took! LOOK AT THEM!!
Those are all from the game, not any cut scene or other pre rendered crap. I just can’t describe how freaking beautiful this game is at times. If I had the moneys I would totally buy an Impreza Sti and tear up some real tracks, but since I don’t this game helps bring that dream a little bit closer. If you like racing, rally, etc then you have to get this, its just out of control.
Awhile back I picked up an Arduino to play with. They are pretty fun to mess around with and seem very flexible as to what they are hooked up too or running. I scrounged around the printer grave hard until I found a Lexmark that had a serial LCD display poking out. Some quick screwdriver work liberated it, and then I looked up the data sheet on it, grabbed a tutorial from Lady Adda on LCD’s, and ended up with this.
It spits out random sentences on the top and bottom every so often. So it could say Chuck Norris… Caught fire. Ostrich… Ate a Banana. etc. Not useful, but kind of cool.
Here is something from a ways back, Mr. Bear!
Its the comps from when a couple of my co-workers and me decided to try and make an Xbox 360 XNA game. They were doing the coding side, and I was tearing up the art. So I did some lvl comps, made some flash animations of Mr. Bear running and walking to be used as sprites in the game. But sadly thats as far as we got. I’m not calling the project dead, cause I would still like to get a little flash game out of it, or maybe use the stuff for a kids book or something. Anyways the bears hopeless look makes me smile for some reason, he’s one melancholy bear.
